This blog is about wedding traditions around the world. We are doing this as a history project and will present our research to our class and make a booth in a summer fair. We hope you like it, and we may use the blog for ourselves after school is over. Byeeeeeeeee!!

Hey it's Mara. Today was the fair! I brought the cake to school, and set up in the corner of the fair. People immediately came over when they saw we had cake. We had everyone read our board and tell us one fact they learned, two if they were in 6th or 7th grade, since we were the ones running the fair. It was a little hard to get the little kids to recite a fact, and at times we had to read a paragraph to them and really push them to share with us what they learned. The only problem we had was Izzi and other friends trying to steal pieces of cake. :) By the end, all the cake was gone, except one chunk that Syd wanted to smash in her face but it fell on the floor before she got a chance. The little lego bride and groom people got covered in cake, the dress and veil completely ruined. There's frosting stuck in the joints, almost impossible to remove...ewwwww. The fun part was we got to eat of the cake!! That's pretty much it, and we'll probably stop blogging here, as it turns out Syd made another blog. If we do end up using this one, I'll post some of our wedding info later this week. If you don't hear from us soon, sorry but we're gone. :)

Hey peeps this is mara. I just finished taking two costco cakes and stacking them so our "wedding cake" has five layers. (I got to eat the extra bits of cake!!) I will post a picture if I can. Katie and I made the bride and groom cake toppers today. They are old playmobiles with a little pink tie and a silk wedding dress and a veil. I am very proud of the outcome of this project. Tomorrow is the summer fair, we started the blog late, because the site was blocked at school and we were just now able to get this done. Anyway, wish us luck!
